KRUS-Zapad Company produces CK-TERM industrial electrical heat tracing (EHT) systems using high-end technology, top grade materials, and a proprietary software package. Our solutions for industrial heat tracing are used in various applications.


Basic types of heat traced industrial equipment are:


  • vessels;

  • decanters and sump tanks;

  • level gauge standpipes;

  • tanks;

  • pump volutes etc.


Compensation is required during operation of the equipment for heat losses that arise on the walls, covers, in the base and on the supports; sometimes, the inventory material needs to be warmed up as well.


An CK-TERM EHT system offered by KRUS-Zapad Company helps to address the following issues:


  • freezing protection;

  • maintaining preset temperature;

  • anti-condensation heating;

  • product warming to required temperature.

Operation Concept

A СК-TERM series EHT system is based on the following concept:


  • heating cable control using temperature sensors or thermostats (using constant wattage heating cables);

  • use of a self-regulating heating cable;

  • proportional control heat tracing capability.


Heating cables remain operational throughout the entire specified temperature range (process (including for steam-out), ambient). A self-regulating heating cable does not require any additional controls and is capable of temperature regulation due to a semiconductor element.

Constant wattage heating cables and cold tails are fluoropolymer insulated and fluoropolymer jacketed (for exposures to temperatures below 260 °С), and mineral insulated and Alloy 825 jacketed (for exposures to temperatures above 260 °С).


Engineering solutions for equipment EHT using heating cables are simple, workable and less costly. Electrical heaters can be easily operated via auto or remote control to maintain the required temperature profile.
