K-MVS – Integrated Switchgears
Description
K-MVS are medium-voltage switchgear cubicles with vacuum circuit breakers intended to receive and distribute three-phase, max. 10 kV AC power into max 3150 A, 50 and 60 Hz currents in insulated or arc suppression reactor grounded neutral systems.
Basic application: distributions and power substations of industrial plants. K-MVS series integrated switchgears may be used for an upgrade and revamp of the existing switchgears.
K-MVS series integrated switchgears are easy to install, operate and service. The K-MVS cubicles provide full personnel safety.
Design
K-MVS series products conform to GOST 14693-90 and GOST Р 55190-2012. Impeccable design and make of the K-MVS product is based on an ISO 9001-compliant quality management system. Cubicle fabrication meets the environment safety regulations and is ISO 14001 certified.
K-MVS cubicles may be equipped with vacuum circuit breakers (Evolis (Schneider Electric) or BB-TEL (Tavrida Electric)).

Protection and Control Circuit
The K-MVS protection and control circuit consists of:
- Sepam microprocessor-based protection relay and control [functions of protection, metering, automation and controls, telecoms and telemetry];
- Voltage transformers;
- Two types of current instruments, i.e. magnetic core phase current transformers and zero sequence current transformers, and non-magnetic core Rogowski coil current transformers [CSP type].
Exploitation
The application conditions of K-MVS conform to IEC 694 and GOST 15150-69 for indoor equipment, i.e. air temperature not exceeding +40 °С, average daily temperature below +35 °С but not lower than -25 °С.
