K-PFC УКРМ Cabinet-type capacitors
Description
Cabinet-type capacitors type 6-10 kV K-PFC УКРМ correct power factor, restrict voltage deviations and increase the utilization rate of electrical equipment applied in the power supply systems in industrial plants.
These units may be applied for individual, grouped or centralized power factor correction of time-dependent loads in three-phase 6 kV and 10 kV circuits.
Design
-
A small-size and robust modular design makes it possible to ramp up the system and facilitates transportation, storage, installation and operation.
-
Galvanized cabinets are used indoors and may be equipped with various ventilation systems. Protection rating: IP30 to IP42. Enclosure as per GOST 14693.
-
The design and test methods comply with the latest relevant standards and may be tailored to the Customer’s needs.
-
Simple design and well-proven components ensure high reliability and lower operating expenses.
-
Arc sensors can be used for protection relays.
-
The power factor correction units are factory tested and delivered fully assembled and ready to connect.
-
Power factor correction units type K-PFC consist of a few stages of regulation comprising capacitor units, reactors and switches, all in a single enclosure. Automatic units are capable of modifying the reactive power according to the instant load.
-
Multiple bank regulation based on required power, and system monitoring is performed with a microprocessor-based controller, which additionally issues circuit-related data and generates emergency alarm messages.
